I ordered this as a gift box and, maybe it’s partly my fault for expecting it to look a little more polished, but I was disappointed when it arrived. The cheese itself was fine, so no complaints there, but the box felt kind of cheap and the packing looked a bit messy. I was giving it as a present, and since I’m probably too picky about how gifts look, I ended up rearranging and fixing some of it before handing it over. It wasn’t terrible, but I don’t think I’d buy it again as a gift.

I’m not totally sure, but the taste just felt kind of different than I expected. It didn’t really seem like the real thing to me, or at least not quite authentic.

I don’t get why this cheese tastes different every time I buy it. Sometimes it’s really good, and then other times it’s just bland like something changed in the recipe or batch. It’s not a huge thing, but it’s weirdly stressful when you’re expecting the same flavor and end up disappointed.

I was disappointed. The amount of food I got felt tiny for what they charged, and I left feeling like I barely ate. I didn’t even bother reaching out to customer service because, in my experience, they usually just give you some generic response and don’t actually fix anything.

The tables looked like they’d been wiped down in a hurry, and there were food bits on the floor, which made it kind of uncomfortable. I ended up spending too much effort trying to find a decent spot to sit, and at that point it just wasn’t enjoyable. Hope they put more care into cleaning things up.

I didn’t feel like I could trust them (and that’s a big deal for me). Something about the experience just felt off, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable moving forward with them.

I went on decaturdairy.com hoping to find some fun seasonal cheese options, but there really wasn’t much to choose from. The weird part is, this feels like the time of year when you’d expect a few more limited or seasonal items to pop up. Maybe I just missed something, but the site felt limited. They’ve got the basics, which is fine, just not really what I was looking for

The cheese showed up cold, and it was packed well, overall. The box did have a little dent in it, but everything inside was totally fine. No leaks, no mess, so I was happy with it.

The curds were fresh and had that nice squeaky texture, which I liked. They tasted good overall, just a little saltier than I expected. i’m kind of tired of having to overthink every order or ask questions every time, so I just grabbed them and moved on. Not bad, though.

The staff at Decatur Dairy were friendly overall, and a few people said hi when I walked in. One person was especially helpful and answered my questions in a really easygoing way, which I appreciated.

That said, the visit felt a little rushed around the edges, like they were busy and didn’t have much time to chat with customers. Nobody was rude or anything, but it wasn’t exactly super welcoming either. Overall, I’d say it was about a 3-star experience for me.

The communication just wasn’t there. I had to keep checking in to find out what was going on, and replies took way longer than they should have. I’m patient, but I shouldn’t have to chase for basic updates.

I ordered from decaturdairy.com after a friend mentioned they’d heard good things, so I was excited when the box showed up. I had been looking forward to trying it all week and maybe making a little snack plate out of it.

The first bite was okay, but after trying a few pieces, I noticed some of the edges were kind of dry. It wasn’t bad or spoiled or anything like that, but it had that slightly older feel, like it had been sitting around longer than I expected.

The shipping itself was totally fine, and the packaging looked normal, so maybe I just got a batch that wasn’t at its best. Still, for what I paid, I was hoping for cheese that tasted a bit fresher

I went to pick up my order locally and it was frustrating. I ended up waiting around for a while because there weren’t really any clear directions on where to go or what to do. When I asked for help, the staff seemed... annoyed, which made the whole thing feel more awkward than it needed to be.

I keep checking decaturdairy.com for the things I usually like to order, but they’re either sold out or not even listed when I look. It’s a little frustrating, especially when I’m ready to place an order and already have my favorites in mind. I really wish they’d keep the popular items stocked more consistently. It just leaves me feeling disappointed every time.

So... I ordered the cheese it just didn’t taste fresh. It had a kind of stale flavor, and the texture felt off too. I was expecting better quality, but I don’t think I’d buy it from here again.

I had to return an order, and while they did sort it out in the end, it took longer than I expected. I ended up emailing a couple of times because I wasn’t totally convinced the refund was actually being processed. To be fair, the money did come through, so it wasn’t a bad experience overall, but the whole thing felt a bit slow and not very reassuring.

I ordered one of the meat and cheese bundles from Decatur Dairy, i was happy with it. The cheese tasted fresh, and the sausage had something about it... way better than I was expecting.
The only downside was that the box showed up a day later than it was supposed to, but everything was still cold when it arrived. Overall, I’d probably order from them again.
